My Netbook Reflections
There are heaps of differences learning on your Netbook than working on your book. Here are some ... You don’t have to bring paper and pencil every school day and, you don’t have to share your computer, you can also search up words on your laptop than having to use a dictionary any more. I really, really, enjoy my Netbook. I don't want to go back to pencil and paper.
If they said that we won’t be able to use Netbook’s, I will feel like an opportunity is running away from me and that will feel stink. But mostly I will be very sad because I have to go back to pen and paper. This is a huge opportunity because, the Netbook is making learning easier for you.

Being Sick
Do hate being sick? I am positive I hate being sick. Sick is the first thing I hate because it ruins every thing. It ruins school and fun stuff that I do.
"Hainite" the doctor calls it is finally my turn. After talking with the doctor we heed into the chemist to get my medicine. As I walked out of the chemist I felt hungry so, I brought a pie. On our way home I felt a funny feeling in my tummy, ewww I just spewed (yuck). The next day came and I felt very funny because I would go from hot to cold and, I hadn't ate since yesterday. Well it was night time and I just finish eating ice block, my mum said that eating ice block stops you from spewing. It turns out my mum was right ice block does stop you from spewing.
I woke up the next day and, what do you know I was feeling better already. Mum was right I think she should be a doctor.

Enjoyable Willow Park
On Tuesday night we played chocolate fish hunt, it was really exciting and scary at the same time. We had our hunt in the gym and outside in the soccer field ( REALLY MUDDY). We all had to meet in the gym, then head off hunting from there. I thought that we would trip because we played in the DARK!. Finally the game was on, I was careful of where I went just in case I tripped over something. "AHHHH!!" I yelled as I bumped into the teacher, I wasn’t quite sure who. Finally My first chocolate fish from inside a piano, second fish, third, fourth BEEP!! a loud noise came on as I found my fifth chocolate fish. I jumped with fright as I grabbed the chocolate because that beep was so loud.
The next night came and after we got back from the chapel Mrs Hamilton wanted to play a game of spotlight, it was definitely a yay moment. WHAT! I thought in my head, two nights in a row we’ve got games in the dark (here comes some more bumps). Well we all hadour jumpers to keep us warm. As we headed outside with our glow sticks all I could hear was "YAY! YAY!" (another yay moment). BEEP! off we go. As I ran past the park I could see a light from the side, I ducked down... it shined to where I was hiding. I sat down for a moment and I could feel my heart beating so fast. As I run to the trampolines I bumped into someone, again didn’t notice because I was focused on the finish line. All of a sudden a light shined on me......I got spotted.
It was Thursday night which means...... Concert and Disco night WOO, this is my highlight night. After chapel time we then headed off and got dressed for the disco. I was dressed happy and nervous at the same time because, after all the practises we’ve had it was time. We all sat in the chapel with three Hosts who are Claim, Moses and Tamati. Groups performed and finally it was our turn. As I stood up I could feel butterflies in my tummy and I could also feel my finger nails digging into my palms as they were sweating. “Go Hainite”, I was guessing it was Pesi yelling out, she was so excited. “Lets give it up for GWC “ which means GIRLS WITH SWAG. We had finished our item and I was so happy. The concert was finished and it was time to enjoy myself with a little boggy, DISCO TIME!.
It was 7 o’clock in the morning and it was time to pack up. After breakfast we had prize giving and then it was time to head home. I had a lovely time and I wish to go back again.

Ending Term 3
To me ending term 3 is not really exciting because I won’t be able to do any school work that is why I am going to finish it off properly. I am not really happy having holiday because I will miss my friends Chanel, Cecilia and Naomi. I wish that I could make my holiday go fast after my camp so that I can go back to school.
The only thing I am excited about is how we have a riverside camp coming up on the first week of holidays. I am so so so happy because that will keep me away from all the chores at home. I love going on camp’s because we always have swims.
I just can’t wait for the first week!.

Movie Dictation (Tangled Punctuation)
This is the story of how I died... but don’t worry this is actually a very fun story and the truth is that it isn’t even mine. This is the story of a girl named Rapunzel, and it starts with the sun. Now, once upon a time a single drop of sunlight fell from the heavens and from that small drop of sun, grew a magic golden flower. It had the ability to hill the sick and injured oh you see that old women over there, you might want to remember her she’s kind of important.
Well centre is past, and a hop skip a boat ride away, there grew a kingdom, the kingdom was ruled by a beloved king and queen, and the queen, well she was about to have a baby and she got sick, really sick she was running out of time and that when people usually start to look for miracle or in this case, a magic golden flower.
Ah I told you she’ll be important, you see instead of sharing the sun’s gift, this women, mother Gothal horded its healing power and used it to keep herself young for hundreds of years, and all she had to do was sing a special song. “flower gleam and glow, let your power shine make the clock reverse, bring back what once was mine, what once was mine”.
Alright, you get the jest she sings to it she gets young creepy! right?.
“We found it”.
The magic of golden flower healed the Queen. A healthy baby girl, a Princess was born, with beautiful golden hair, (king happy sound oho) (happy sound of baby squeaking), I’ll give you a hint that's Rapunzel, to celebrate her birth the king and queen launch a flying land-turn into the sky, and for that one moment every thing was perfect... and then that moment ended.
“flower gleam and glow let your power shine make the clock re (the old lady gasps)”(waaaaa)
Gothal broke into the castle stole the child and just like that GONE!.....the kingdom searched and searched but they could not find the Princess, for deep within the forest in a hidden tower Gothal raised the child as her own.
(“take what has been lost bring what once was mine what once was mine )
Gothal had found her new magic flower, but this time she was determine to keep it hidden.
“why can’t I go outside?”
“the outside world is a dangerous place filled with horrible shellfish people, you must stay here were your safe, do you understand flower?”
“yes mummy”
But walls of that tower could not hide every thing. each year on her birthday the king and queen release Thousands of lanterns in to the sky, and hope that one day... their lost princess would return.

Lonely or Alone?
it feels like
nobody loves
or cares...
no one even notices me!
It feels like
dark shadows,
by myself-
alone.
Parents don’t notice.
Brothers or sisters don’t either.
I guess they’re enjoying
their own happiness.
Hmmm!

The Night At School
Three weeks ago on a Friday after school I waited at my grandparents house for my mum to come and pick me up. When my mum arrived I said that I am going to pack my stuff for the 20 hour famine because it was the night that we had our sleep over at school. After I packed my clothes I did my hair. My mum said to me that I had to bring my stuff downstairs into the van because I might go late to the famine.
Ahh finally good night

Bring On The Easter Hunt
Even though I was really busy over the Easter holidays, nothing really eventful happened. On the first Sunday of the break, I was asked to help my auntie make food for our Easter celebration. I didn't really help her “make” the food, I just helped her “with” the food. In fact, I only helped her make the potato salad. What I did do though, was rap and hide the eggs for our easter hunt. Before we could begin this adventure, we had to complete a difficult task...everyone HAD to enjoy some ice-cream. Tough job! When I was finished setting up the hunt for the younger children, I had to first set the table, and then make sure that the little ones had everything they needed in the living room.
I also had to make sure that they all had seven Easter eggs in their little Easter bags that they are going to use when we go on our easter hunt. When I finished I had got a big shock because my auntie yelled out my name “Hainite!’’
I answered back “I’m coming”, and then she reminded me that I still had to go and hide the 10 big easter eggs in all the trees, branches, and leaves. Ten minutes later, my mum, sisters and brothers arrived from church, and I ran to change my clothes. I then ran downstairs, and saw everyone coming out of the van. I remembered that there were still two more giant Easter eggs in the kitchen, so I ran and I put them in the fridge, safe from my two little sisters and their incredible love of chocolate.
Soon everyone was ready, so my grandpa said a prayer, and we were for some delicious kai. When everyone had finished eating, it was finally my favourite part of the day... the easter hunt! At that moment, I knew that I was going to find the most easter eggs, because after all, I was the one that set it all up!
